Great for those who want their desk to track low heightReally nice, just received it, but so far so good, and at the amount of weight it can handle is the best bang for the buck. Refreshing to finally find something on Amazon that isn't knock off junk.I had an existing sit-down desk that I wanted to turn into a standing desk. I saw this, the price was fantastic so I gave it a shot (not expecting too much). I have another standing desk from a higher-end manufacturer and this is nearly identical to that (though the lift motor is a bit small in this). Overall, it's very smoother and responsive, the lift and lower buttons feel high quality, it's quite and it was fairly straightforward to assemble. This is a great deal and definitely worth it.This is pretty standard, electric motor, two button operation, no pre-sets, small motor (exactly what i wanted). I used an existing table top i got from IKEA for like $16 and everything is great! I had one issue of the rod coming loose, but that was just a me thing and i didnt have to take the whole thing apart to fix it, which was great. Runs smoothly.Wow, what an incredible difference between this dual motor desk and the single motor it replaced. The motors are so quiet and smooth, almost thought it was broken at first because it didn't make a sound when it lifted. The frame is heavy, but I am hoping that means durable as well. Seems to be well crafted, didn't notice any defects when assembling. I do wish it had a couple more mounting points, only six total, two on either side and two in the middle.I'm 6'2" and my other desk only lifted to just under 47" with the desk top and that was just a little too low if I was standing on a anti-fatigue mat. This desk lifts to over 51" with a 1" desk top on, and is more than enough for me to feel comfortable even on a very thick mat.I just set it up, and currently have it completely loaded with two 26"+ monitors, a full tower loaded with hardware and a beefy monitor stand, my desktop is made of hardwood and weighs more than 50 lbs on its own. I easily have close to 150 lbs on the frame and it had no issues lifting/holding, unlike my single motor frame. If all goes well this review will stay a 5 star, I will update if any issues arise. Will also include some photos eventually.I just assembled this unit and mounted a 24”x72”x1.25” prefinished top. The instructions were very clear - no broken English! All the hardware was nicely separated and labeled and there was 1 extra for everything! They suggested adjusting the frame to 2-3” from the ends of the top but I went with 5” - it all depends on how sturdy your top is. Also I mounted the buttons back a half-inch instead of flush to the front and way over to one side near a frame wing so they are less likely to get damaged by banging.Plugged it in and held in the 2 buttons for 5-10 seconds for the reset like they instructed. All good! The dual motors are very quiet - they accelerate from a soft start and they automatically slow down when they get near the end of their travel - nice touch!I see some reviewers complaining that they have to do the reset quite often. Per instructions that should only happen after the unit loses power - so we will see!Easy to assemble and functional. Have been using this for about four months and it has worked well with no issues. Super sturdy and the design of the frame supports for desk top provide good channels for cable management.I like this table frame as it is very sturdy, however it has one very annoying feature; you have to hold down a button on the control unit for about 3 seconds to "log in" to the desk before you can use the up/down buttons. Presumably this is some sort of safety feature if you have kids around, but I don't, and I find it extremely annoying.Assembly was fairly straight forward. It took about 2 hours. I stained and sealed some 3/4 inch plywood for the top, but I wish I had spent the bucks for a unit that came with a top. The top did not come out as well as I had hoped. The desk work and can lift a lot of weight.the issue is that it is not customer-friendly at all.A week after assembling it, it'll break down. and your missing tools to fix the transmission luckily I had them but without it it is guaranteed it'll break down in less than a weekDO NOT BUY!!! Bought believing everything listed in the product description and believe me save your time and money and buy a more expensive one. Broke within 1 hour of setting up and then the motor mount broke. Not 46 db around 80db. Not worth the headache of returning save yourself!!Works great, not to hard to assemble, my 18 yr old son and i installed it. The instruction were easy to figure out. Two weeks in and it works great!Works well as it should. Maybe one year now and have no issue.Very fragile and needs to make very tight the connection rod (it has aluminum parts which will break after a while). But good for 200
