I love the quality of this wooden desk ! The price was worth every penny ! Delivery was fast ! I would recommend anything from this company !!!My son loves this corner desk. Assembly is little tricky, but finally made it. Love the looktamaño adecuado para espacios pequeñosBecause of some of the reviews I was uncertain about this product. Some said it began to sag. Some people were upset it wasn't real wood and felt it was cheap. My experience has been very good. The price was very good compared to Overstock, Bush's own website and a couple of other places online. They were all about $300 higher .The description does say engineered wood. I'm not crazy about "particle board" but thisdesk super sturdy. The boards are and 5/8 inch thick, over 1/2 inch. This desk is heavy, not cheap in that respect, not to me. Real wood would cost 3,4 or 5 times as much. The instructions were easy to understand, all the parts were there. There was no damage to any of the pieces. I am very happy with this desk.I wonder if the people who said it sagged had not put it together properly.Price and quality are not correlated. This thing isn’t worth $500. We purchased this for our home office and it fits the space very well. It looks fancy but the quality is poor. My partner placed a piece of clear tape on the desk and when he removed the take, the color came off with itLove everything about this desk. Has a drawer, shelves and great space for everything. Quality is great , assembling was easy.My daughter bought this desk because it met her needs and wasn't hideous looking. It took about three hours to assemble both the desk and the overhead hutch, two pieces of which were put in backwards requiring undoing and redoing. What was the result was what appeared to be a nice-enough ensemble but really was thin particle board covered in thin wood-like stickers. Assembly wasn't altogether impossible, but there were virtually no words to describe how to assemble...just pictures. The pictures were MOSTLY clear enough to follow, but they lacked a few pieces of key instructions: 1) be SURE to screw all the lock screws DEAD STRAIGHT or the pieces will not assemble easily. 2) be SURE to watch the angle of your nails as you attach the cardboard back. If a nail goes off center (which is easy considering how thin the particle board sides are), it WILL punch through, tearing the faux wood sticker and breaking the board. 3) PAY ATTENTION to the direction of the "finished edge" of the wood. They should follow each other. Sadly, because this kit does not show front and back of material during assembly, this can result in redoing assembly. 4) Do a complete inventory of product PRIOR to assembling. We discovered the L-shaped brackets for attaching the hutch to the lower desk units were not included. Fortunately, the desk was going against a back wall in a stable area. We can probably function just fine without attaching it. 5) There is a notice on the box insisting there is a 200 pound weight limit. Nope. I'd hold off from putting any weight exceeding 50 pounds. This is particle board assembled with blunt edge seams and screws. It is not designed to be moved after assembly without significant risk to the unit. Buy it once and consider it a throw-away if you need to move. With that knowledge, though, it actually does look decent from a distance. And when we put one piece in backwards that would have required tearing EVERYTHING apart to redo it, we opted, instead, to get a black permanent marker and just color the wood. Nobody notices it.I agree with everything most other reviewers have said - product came packaged well, no pieces were damaged. Assembly is time consuming, but it's obviously well constructed. The time factor is the result of Bush not cutting any corners with this product. Material is particle board, but don't let that scare you off - it's sturdy and attractive. You definitely need two people to get the hutch onto the desk - I'm impatient so I tried doing it myself, and ended up scratching up the surface of the desk. Doh!I don't really like the "charging station" - the odd folded cloth thing doesn't hold anything larger than an iPhone (vertically), so my Kindle and iPad fit well on it. How many people have a whole shelf of phones to charge? Wish it was a drawer. Might try doing some sort of modification. Even though I don't like that part, I would still recommend buying the desk. Just be prepared to get creative with that space. The only product defect I encountered was the screws that hold the handle on the file drawer are not long enough so they can't catch the groves in the handle screw-holes. No one else has mentioned this, so it must be an isolated thing. I'm sure I can find a different handle or longer screws to fix the problem, so I'm not too upset over it.I'm left handed, so I'm really happy with the amount of workspace to the left of my computer. That was the one thing I was really looking for, and this desk definitely provides plenty of room to spread out, despite it's relatively small footprint. I can have a laptop, textbook, and spiral notebook open at the same time and not feel crowded.Overall, this was a great upgrade from my previous desk, which I purchased in 1997 from an office supplies store. Perfect for a home office with limited space.
